Get to know Briana who joined our team in June.

Where were you born/raised? 

Born in Riverside, California, but raised in Aloha/Beaverton, Oregon.

Why commercial real estate? 

Ever since I worked in commercial property management, I’ve been interested in expanding my knowledge into the entire commercial real estate industry, from development to brokerage. I genuinely love the people in the industry and properties and am interested in the complex nature of the deals. 

Before commercial real estate, what were you doing?

I’m a CPA and have worked in accounting/finance since 2009. I still focus on accounting and finance with Macadam Forbes and a few other clients from my previous business, on top of adding my broker’s license to the mix. 

What is the best advice you have ever received, and from whom?

That is a tough one, but a quote that resonates with me in all aspects of my life is, “I’d rather regret the things I’ve done than regret the things I haven’t done.” – I believe it’s a quote by Lucille Ball.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love spending time with my son and friends. I love going to the gym and bowling as well.
